I’m not sure I waste much time, but then again, I will write about it and learn more.

My dog gets me up at 04:30 to go for his morning walk. Then it’s coffee time, and blog time.

After my girlfriend gets up, I spend time with her chatting, resting, and watching the birds enjoying the bird feeders I filled after walking Bentley.

I still work part-time, in a grocery store. On days I work early, I eat breakfast, and go to work. On days I start at noon, I have time to paint, so I paint and watch YouTube videos.

In the evenings I have dinner with my girlfriend, and we watch TV together and turn in for the night.

On my days off I usually rest, which in my mind is not wasted time–reading, napping, doing a yard work project–early in the morning as we live in the desert. What I look forward to most is painting, so I sit down to paint, and it is never wasted time. Either I learn something about what not to do, or I find what comes out of my fingers is awesome.

Looking back, I see lots of wasted time though, especially post internet. But then again, maybe the hours I spent online, scrolling through social media, and down rabbit holes was not really wasted. I was learning the hard way that there are better things to do with my time.

Peace and Love
